Inspired by the behavior of VCA compressors, PSP BussPressor aims for a firm and punchy compression, particularly effective on rhythmic buses and the master. You can use it as a light "glue" to homogenize a mix or push the settings for a more pronounced effect, while maintaining a clean and controlled sound.

Smarter Sidechain Thanks to the High-Pass Filter

The sweepable sidechain filter prevents low frequencies (kick, bass) from triggering excessive gain reduction. The result: a mix that stays solid in the low end, with more stable and musical compression. This is a key tool to retain energy while controlling transients.

Adjustable Auto-Release: Musicality and Control

The tweakable auto-release function helps achieve a more natural gain reduction that follows the program's dynamics.
