What PSP EasyVerb Is For

PSP EasyVerb is designed to add depth, cohesion, and a sense of space to your productions, whether you are working on vocals, drums, guitars, keyboards, or virtual instruments. Thanks to its algorithms ranging from small rooms to cathedrals, it covers both mixing needs (placing a source in a space, gluing takes together, creating a background) and sound design (broad textures, reverse tails, cinematic ambiances). Its "easy" approach allows you to quickly find the right color while retaining enough controls to adapt the reverb to the dynamics and timbre of your signal.

Main Features

10 Algorithms, From Realism to Creativity

The plug-in offers a complete palette of inspiring ambiances and reverb machines: Ambience to thicken without overwhelming, Room and Chamber for credible spaces, Club and Hall for wider settings, Arena and Cathedral for spectacular tails, Spring and Plate for vintage colors, and Reverse for transition effects and unusual pads. Each algorithm reacts differently with the same controls, making comparison and selection very quick.

Algorithm Variations: Legacy, Alt1, Alt2

For each algorithm, PSP EasyVerb includes variations designed to broaden the sonic palette. Legacy preserves the original sound of PSP EasyVerb version 1 to ensure seamless compatibility with older projects while maintaining a proven character. Alt1 and Alt2, introduced with version 2, provide additional tonalities and more "lush" responses to multiply creative options.

Space Sizes: Small, Medium, Large

Depending on the chosen algorithm, you can adjust the sense of volume via size options. The Medium mode corresponds to the "Room" size setting from version 1: combined with the Legacy variation, it allows you to recover the authentic and familiar sound of PSP EasyVerb v1 while enjoying the comfort of the current version.

Essential Controls for Quick Adjustment

PSP EasyVerb favors direct, effective, and immediately audible parameters. Decay adjusts the reverb time to define the length and overall character of the space. Damp applies high-frequency damping to shift from a bright reverb to a darker, more realistic ambiance. Predelay sets the delay before the reverb onset to preserve the attack (vocals, snare, piano) and enhance the illusion of large rooms.

Built-in 3-Band Semi-Parametric Equalizer

The onboard EQ allows you to "glue" the reverb into the mix without multiplying processing instances. The low and high bands operate as shelving filters and can also act as high-pass and low-pass filters, while a mid peaking band helps tame resonances, clear low-mids, or conversely emphasize a presence area for more pronounced effects.
