What is PSP SpringBox for?
PSP SpringBox is a reverb plug-in designed to reproduce the behavior of a studio spring reverb, with all the personality that entails: a lively attack, a resonance that “sings” in the midrange, and a texture that is immediately recognizable in a mix. Whereas a plate or convolution reverb often aims for neutrality or the realism of a space, a spring reverb embraces a grain and a sonic signature that bring out a source without pushing it away.
It can be used as an insert on a guitar, organ, snare drum or synth, as well as on a send to give multiple tracks a retro, dynamic halo. Depending on the presence setting and spring configuration, SpringBox can range from a tight, amp-style ambience to a more resonant tail, ideal for surf, dub, rock, indie and electronic productions, or for adding a “vintage studio” character to vocals and effects.

Can the reverb be widened in stereo?
Stereo spread and pan/balance settings allow placing the effect in the stereo field, from a centered position to a wider space.
What are the SpringBox A/B channels for?
The two channels A and B allow preparing two reverb settings and quickly switching between them. This feature makes it easier, for example, to compare a short tail with a more present version.
