What V-Rack Is For
V-Rack is a stereo effects rack designed to give your tracks, buses, and virtual instruments an immediate analog color while maintaining the precision and repeatability of modern mixing. It fits seamlessly into both music production contexts (sound design, electronic, pop, hip-hop) and mixing (processing vocals, guitars, synths, drums, stems), thanks to a complete chain ranging from saturation to delay, including equalization, dynamics, and modulation.Its main advantage: grouping complementary modules in a single plugin to quickly build a coherent sonic signature, then recall your settings via presets (per module or for the entire channel strip). The software runs on macOS Big Sur 11 through Sonoma 14, as well as on Windows 10 and 11. An Internet connection is required, with 8 GB RAM and at least 1.13 GB of disk space.
Which effects are included in this stereo rack?
The chain includes 7 modules: diode Drive, resonant parametric EQ, Vari-Pan, VCA compressor, 4-stage phaser, Bucket Brigade chorus, and Bucket Brigade delay.
Does the compressor support sidechain?
A sidechain input is provided on the VCA compressor for ducking or controlled pumping. The controls Attack, Threshold, and Release complement Amount and Makeup Gain. The Pre/Post positioning allows placing the compression before or after certain stages of the chain.
Can settings be saved in V-Rack?
Presets can be saved and loaded per module or for the entire channel strip. An integrated naming window for presets is included.
Does the delay offer tempo synchronization?
The Bucket Brigade delay features BPM synchronization and Tap Tempo, with controls for Time, Feedback, and Mix. The Ping-Pong, Jitter, Spread, Low Cut, and High Cut options allow adjustment of the repeats within the mix.
