A RockBoard Module Designed to Simplify Modern Pedalboard Wiring
The RockBoard MOD Patchbays have been designed as all-in-one interfaces to be integrated directly onto RockBoard pedalboards. The idea is simple: move essential connections to a single, accessible front panel, and leave the effects chain wiring permanently under or on the pedalboard. The result: fewer manipulations, faster setup, and a cleaner installation, especially appreciated during rehearsals and on stage.
Who Is This Patchbay For and When to Use It?
This RockBoard patchbay is aimed at guitarists and bassists who want a pedalboard always ready without reconnecting every cable each session. It is ideal if you frequently transport your rig, switch between multiple amps, or play on gigs where quick setup is as important as reliability.
Practically, it serves as a "hub": you plug your instrument into a front input, the patchbay sends the signal to the first pedal via the rear, then retrieves the output from the last pedal to send it back to the amp from the front. You can also use it to organize an amp effects loop, centralize multiple connections, or interface more complex gear thanks to the TRS inputs, XLR output, and USB.

Questions frequently asked
How many speaker simulations are included?
The MOD 5 IR features 6 speaker simulations (IR), with a dedicated USB input for adding more IRs.
How to connect a guitar and an amp to the patchbay?
The instrument is plugged into a front input, then the signal is routed to the first pedal from the rear. The output of the last pedal is picked up by the module and sent back to the amplifier from the front.
Does the RockBoard MOD 5 IR have an XLR output?
An XLR output is available for setups requiring this connection type. An unbalanced/balanced switch adjusts the signal routing. The Lift/Ground switch helps manage ground loop noise caused by cabling.
Can a headset be used with this patchbay?
A headphone output with volume control is included, allowing signal monitoring or working depending on the configuration used.
How many TRS connections are available?
Three TRS inputs are provided for additional routings. A dedicated switch enables stereo or mono operation according to the pedalboard wiring.
