The NTH-Mic was designed as a direct extension of the RODE NTH-100 headset: it attaches to the headset via a secure locking connector, instantly converting a studio headphone into a complete communication solution. The idea is simple: keep the comfort and isolation of the NTH-100 while adding a dedicated voice capture, better controlled than a built-in computer microphone or a smartphone mic.

This "modular" approach allows you to quickly switch from a listening or editing session to spoken use (meetings, live streaming, voice recording), then remove the microphone when you want to return to a purely monitoring setup. Practical Connectivity: Locking TRRS and Included Cables

The microphone connects via a locking bayonet TRRS (3.5 mm jack), designed to secure the setup on the headset and prevent accidental disconnections. To adapt to various equipment, it comes with a 2.4 m TRS 3.5 mm connection cable and a splitter cable (TRRS to 2x TRS): convenient for switching between computer, interface, adapters, or communication setups.
