Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
This lug is an official Rogers spare part, designed to replace a worn or missing component while respecting the original hardware's dimensions and spirit. Ideal for a clean restoration without risky modifications.
Intended Users
It is aimed at drummers and technicians maintaining a drum kit equipped with Rogers components, as well as restoration enthusiasts seeking a compatible and coherent solution. Suitable for both home use and regularly gigged stage kits.
Features and Innovations
The stop-design (springless) prioritizes robustness and stability during assembly. The supplied insulating rubber helps reduce unwanted vibrations and protects the shell at the contact point, ensuring a cleaner and more durable assembly.
Sound Characteristics
As a hardware element, this lug does not alter the drum shell's "musical" tone as changing heads or wood would. However, a well-isolated and properly tightened mounting contributes to a healthier drum kit: less mechanical noise, fewer unwanted vibrations, and a clearer playing feel.

Product quality seems okay. Product definitely is not the same as the original Rogers beavertail, so not a perfect replacement part (in case of a restoration project). Shape of the block is slightly (but noticeably) different and swivel nuts are different as well.
