Keyboard Design

The PHA-50 (Progressive Hammer Action) 88-key keyboard combines a wooden structure and molded plastic to reconcile authentic sensations with long-term stability. The response is progressive from bass to treble (firmer in the bass, lighter in the treble), just like on an acoustic piano, helping to build solid technique and precise control of dynamics. The addition of escapement reproduces the subtle feel of the mechanism at the end of the key stroke, and the "ebony/ivory" coating improves grip and comfort, especially appreciated during long sessions (legato practice, fast repetitions, pianissimo).

Sound Quality

SuperNATURAL Piano technology aims for a lively rendering, with a musical response coherent to velocity and playing style. For piano repertoire, the unlimited polyphony on piano sounds allows full exploitation of chords, resonances, and pedaling without cutoff, a key point for expressive daily playing. The DP603 also offers 307 tones (pianos, strings, organs, synths, etc.) with a 384-voice polyphony for other sounds, practical for varying colors, working on arrangements, or enriching an interpretation in layered mode.
