Roots Percussion 12" X 15CM CAIXA DELUXE PROTECTION BAG - BACKPACK

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

Roots Percussions emphasizes a "world instruments" approach, where reliability in real-life situations is as important as practicality. This case belongs to the brand's Deluxe range, designed for percussionists who regularly transport their instrument and seek a more durable solution than a standard case, while maintaining reasonable bulk.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

This case is intended for all percussionists playing the Caixa, from beginners who want to protect their instrument from the first lessons to experienced musicians who juggle rehearsals, concerts, and travel. It is especially suitable for mobile practices (batucada, percussion ensembles, marching bands, Brazilian music, and related traditions) where stable, comfortable carrying and accessible storage for maintenance and small parts are needed.

Features and Innovations

Designed for transport, this case prioritizes robust construction and serious protection thanks to its reinforced manufacturing and substantial padding. The waterproof nylon covering helps protect the instrument from moisture and everyday hazards. The backpack-style carrying frees the hands and balances the load, while integrated storage compartments keep essentials within reach: spare heads, tuning key, and complementary small percussion instruments.

Sound Quality

A case does not directly alter the sound of your Caixa, but it helps preserve it over time. By protecting the shell, hoops, and hardware from shocks and abrasion, it helps maintain a well-tuned, stable, and reliable instrument. The storage compartments also facilitate carrying spare heads and a tuning key, essential for maintaining consistent tension and a uniform response according to playing style.
