Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range

Roots Percussions is part of the world instruments universe with a focus on durability and practical use. This case belongs to the Deluxe range : a version designed for musicians who regularly transport their handpan and seek a higher level of protection while maintaining a practical everyday solution.

Who This Case Is For

This case is suitable for both beginner and professional musicians: it secures the instrument during trips to lessons, rehearsals, concerts, outdoor sessions, or travel. It is particularly relevant for practices involving frequent movement (meditative music, street performance, percussion ensembles, world music), thanks to its backpack-style carrying that frees the hands.

Features and Innovations

The Deluxe series focuses on reinforced construction and substantial padding to minimize risks from shocks, friction, and micro-impacts. The waterproof nylon helps protect the instrument from moisture and splashes, while the adjustable padded shoulder straps enhance comfort over long distances. The handle offers a quick alternative for short trips.

Sound Quality

A case does not alter the timbre, but it plays a crucial role in preserving the sound quality over time. By limiting shocks and reducing exposure to moisture, it helps protect tuning stability and surface integrity-two key factors for maintaining a consistent response, controlled sustain, and good projection during play.
