Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
After accompanying generations of drummers, the B8 series has ended and gives way to the Sabian B8X, designed to meet current expectations: more visual character thanks to hammering, reworked geometry, and a hammered bell. The B8X is positioned as an accessible range at Sabian, intended to offer excellent value for money to complement a kit with an effective and modern cymbal, without compromising on essentials.
Who This Cymbal Is For
The Sabian B8X Splash 10 is primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate drummers looking for a splash that is simple to use, quick to trigger, and easy to place within a groove. It suits styles where short, bright accents are needed: pop, rock, punk, funk, worship, and more broadly any rehearsal or stage situation where a splash that "cuts" through the mix with clarity is desired.
