Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
To meet the demand for affordable cymbals without sacrificing essentials, SABIAN developed the SBr series to provide a reliable solution for novice drummers. Made in Canada at the SABIAN facility using a special alloy formula, the SBr focuses on the most requested sizes and models. They benefit from the brand's expertise in lathing, with a deliberately simple and efficient approach to keep costs low.
Who This Drum/Splash Is For
This SABIAN SBr 10 splash is primarily aimed at beginners and drummers in the process of equipping themselves (first kit, upgrading an entry-level set, practice drum kit). Its bright character and compact size make it very suitable for rock, pop, funk, and any situations where quick accents, short "cuts," or punctuation in breaks are needed. It also works perfectly as an auxiliary cymbal on a rehearsal set, a second drum kit, or a simple and effective setup.
