Tone

The combination of a okoume body + roasted maple neck promotes a quick response, precise attack, and well-controlled low end. The passive P-Style pickup (neck) provides body, roundness, and a "present" midrange that naturally carries the groove. The passive J-Style pickup (bridge) adds definition, grain, and better note articulation, useful for more intricate lines.

Regarding controls, the Treble / Bass pair allows you to open up the sound for more brightness and attack, or conversely thicken the lows for a heavier register. The balance control is ideal for finely tuning the P or J character depending on the song, shifting from a muscular vintage tone to a more modern and incisive color.
