Intended for intermediate to expert bassists, this 5-string is ideal if you're looking for a "plug and play" bass capable of holding its own in a dense mix effortlessly. The M/J configuration covers a wide palette: funk and slap (attack and definition), modern rock (foundation and presence), gospel/R&B (deep, clean lows), as well as studio contexts where silent operation and precise intonation make all the difference.

The Sound

The combination of a okoumé body + roasted maple neck delivers a quick response, well-controlled lows, and excellent balance across the entire range, particularly useful on a 5-string. The Madagascar rosewood fingerboard adds density in the low mids and slightly softens the attack while maintaining definition. Regarding pickups, the noise-cancelling Stacked J-Style neck pickup provides an articulated and clean tone, while the Alnico V M-Style humbucker bridge pickup enhances punch, projection, and precision. The active 2-band preamp (bass/treble boost) allows instant adaptation of the bass to the stage, and the VTC helps smooth out the high end. The push/pull on the VTC to bypass the preamp facilitates switching to passive mode for more "vintage" textures and a more direct approach.
