Sound Characteristics

The mahogany body delivers full mids and a dense sonic foundation, ideal for modern tunings and tight rhythms. The ebony fingerboard enhances attack and definition, while the stainless steel frets provide a precise feel and excellent harmonic response. At the bridge, the Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic offers a tight grain, firm lows, and well-defined highs, with voicings accessible via push/pull controls to vary response and openness. In the neck position, the Sustainiac does more than produce sound: it sustains notes over time, and its mini-switches provide access to multiple sustain modes for creating singing lines, controlled feedback, and atmospheric textures. The Floyd Rose 1500 completes the setup by maintaining intonation during heavy vibratos while adding a sharp attack to the playing.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

This guitar accepts standard 6-string electric guitar strings with ball ends (nickel-plated steel): a 9-42 or 10-46 gauge is a common choice for the 25.5" / 648 mm scale length with Floyd Rose. For transport, a Schecter SGR-2A case is recommended as an option (sold separately). A standard strap fits the original strap buttons.
