It performs well in rock, metal, punk, but also in more nuanced contexts (pop, funk, fusion) thanks to the combination of two volume and tone controls that allow precise adjustment of attack and sonic openness.

Sound

The mahogany body provides a warm foundation, with full lows and generous low-mids, ideal for "filling" the mix. The Schecter Diamond Standard Soapbar pickups deliver a broad and balanced sound, with a solid low-end presence and consistent response across the fingerboard. The 3-position selector switch facilitates quick changes: neck pickup for a round tone, bridge pickup for more definition, or both for a versatile balance. In passive mode, the dynamics remain very natural: you can easily modulate the tone with your touch, and the 2 tone controls allow you to tame the highs or darken the sound without losing attack.

This bass can be transported in the SGR-6B gig bag (sold separately, listed as an option). To make the most of its 34" / 863 mm scale length, a long scale bass string set is suitable. A strap and a bass stand are useful additions for both stage and home use.
