The "Palladium" Series: A Modern Approach Between Design and Performance
This "Palladium" variant stands out with an engraved aluminum top, designed for contemporary metal aesthetics where visual impact is as important as playing precision. Beyond style, this material choice delivers a crisper attack feel and very clear definition, especially appreciated in tight chords, syncopated rhythms, and fast palm mutes.
The Ultra Access design emphasizes upper fretboard ergonomics: access to the highest frets remains natural, facilitating technical phrasing, wide stretches, and solo lines that span the entire range. Add to that a carbon-reinforced neck and stainless steel frets, and you get an instrument clearly focused on reliability and stability for daily use (rehearsals, studio, touring).

Questions frequently asked
Is the Schecter E-1 Pryzm Palladium FR suitable for low tunings?
The 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale length provides string tension favorable for tight lows and fast riffs. The 7 strings and Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic and Alnico pickups target modern metal tones.
Which Floyd Rose is equipped on this 7-string guitar?
A Floyd Rose 1500 Series is paired with a locking nut from the same series. This setup allows for pronounced vibrato usage and promotes tuning stability with proper adjustment.
What sounds do the Fishman Fluence pickups and the Sustainiac offer?
The Fishman Fluence Modern feature voicing changes via push/pull controls: Voice-3 on the volume and Voice-2 on the tone. The built-in Sustainiac has an on/off switch and a 3-position selector for its sustain modes. It enables prolonged sustain and controlled harmonics.
Is the neck designed for technical playing?
The 3-piece maple neck reinforced with carbon has an ultra-thin C profile, measuring 19 mm at the nut and 20 mm at the 12th fret. Its Ultra Access, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, and compound radius from 12 to 16 inches facilitate playing on the highest frets.
Which case and strings are recommended for this model?
The original strings are Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 in .010-.046, while the compatible indicated case is the SGR-E-1 Hardcase; no case is included.
