A Modern Signature Crafted for Keith Merrow's Precise Playing

The Keith Merrow KM-7 MK-III Legacy belongs to a line of performance-oriented guitars where every choice is aimed at precision: a fast neck, ergonomics designed for technical playing, and premium components suited for tight riffs as well as expressive leads. With its Trans White Satin finish and flamed maple top, it maintains a premium aesthetic while being firmly focused on efficiency.

Who Is It For, and What Styles?

This 7-string solid body electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a reliable platform for low tunings and modern playing styles. It excels in metal (djent, prog, metalcore), but its balance and clarity also make it an excellent choice for modern rock and contexts where the clarity of complex chords is essential, even under heavy saturation.

Sound

The combination of a mahogany body and flamed maple top provides a sonic foundation that is both dense and articulate: mahogany favors body and sustain, while maple adds attack and clarity in the upper frequencies. The Lundgren M7 (humbuckers) reinforce this philosophy with tight lows, structured mids, and a very clear response on alternate picking attacks. The Hipshot hardtail bridge supports everything with excellent stability, ideal for palm-muted rhythms and extended 7-string chords.
