This Schecter is primarily aimed at intermediate to expert guitarists who want an immediate playing feel and a reliable instrument both in rehearsal and on stage. Thanks to the thin neck, long scale length, and modern pickups, it excels in metal, modern rock, prog, and fusion, while remaining very comfortable for more nuanced tones when playing with a pick or fingerpicking.

The Sound

The ash body delivers a crisp attack and good clarity, while the flamed maple top adds precision in the upper spectrum, ideal for articulated riffs. The neck-through construction promotes a seamless feel under the fingers and solid sustain. On the electronics side, the two Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers provide a tight and powerful tone at the bridge (ceramic magnet) and a rounder, more expressive register at the neck (alnico magnet), with excellent definition in distortion and a very clean response on fast attacks.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The guitar comes factory-strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 in 10-46: you can stick with this gauge to maintain the factory balance or plan an identical set for your string changes. A case or gig bag is recommended as an option: SGR-UNIVERSAL GUITAR (sold separately).
