A "Set-Neck" Formula Inspired by the Classics, Optimized for Today's Playing

With its glued neck, short scale, and Tune-O-Matic style hardware, this model follows the great tradition of single-cutaway guitars focused on sustain. Modern choices like the compound radius and compensated nut enhance comfort and intonation without sacrificing character.

Who Is It For, and Which Styles?

This guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced players seeking an expressive instrument comfortable in rock, hard rock, powerful blues, and lead playing. The slim C profile and jumbo frets facilitate bends, vibrato, and fast runs while remaining comfortable for rhythm playing.

The Sound

The combination of mahogany (body) + flamed maple top delivers a highly sought-after balance: dense mids, solid lows, and a more precise attack thanks to the maple. The glued neck enhances vibrational continuity, offering generous sustain and a "singing" feel in solos. The ebony fingerboard adds definition and quick response, ideal for keeping notes clear when saturated. Regarding pickups, the Seymour Duncan '78 pushes the amp with a nervy rock grain, while the Seymour Duncan '59 provides a more vintage, open, and dynamic range, perfect for rich cleans and expressive crunches.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay true to the original specifications, you can choose a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 strings in .010-.046. For rigid protection, the 1702 SGR-E-1 Hardcase is recommended as an option (sold separately).
