Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
With the Infinity Rain Towers, Schlagwerk offers an "instrument" approach to the rain column: a generous format designed to last and conceived to fit both wellness environments and contemporary percussion setups. This tower aligns with the brand's spirit, known for its acoustic instruments with sober design, precise craftsmanship, and immediately accessible musicality.
Target Audience for This Drum/Instrument
This rain column is aimed at a very broad audience: yoga practitioners, sound therapists, music therapists, relaxation workshop facilitators, as well as percussionists and composers seeking an organic texture. No particular technical skill is required: the gesture is intuitive, and expression mainly comes from controlling the tilt, rocking speed, and movement continuity. It is perfectly suited for ambient, meditative, film music, theater, as well as guided breathing sessions where a stable and reassuring sound is essential.

Questions frequently asked
What is the sound duration of the Schlagwerk IRT90 Infinity Baton De Pluie "waterfall"?
The advertised sound diffusion lasts up to 22 minutes, providing a continuous stream suitable for long relaxation or meditation sessions.
What sound does this ash rainstick produce?
Ash wood promotes a defined and clear streaming sound, while the natural cork softens the perception of impacts. The result mimics the pattering of summer rain. This texture can accompany singing bowls, a handpan, or a guided voice.
What are the dimensions and weight of this rain column?
This model measures approximately 90 × 16.5 × 14.2 cm and weighs 7.2 kg.
Is the IRT90 rainstick suitable for sound therapy?
Its Infinity format and 22-minute duration suit sound journeys, music therapy, yoga, and meditation. The slow rocking motion allows modulation of the streaming density, from a subtle trickle to a more pronounced movement.
How can the sound intensity be controlled on this rain tower?
The tilt angle and rocking speed determine the sound flow. With its 90 cm length, this instrument lends itself to wide and gradual movements.
