Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Part of the large family of frame drums, one of the oldest percussion instruments, the RTF 60 captures the spirit of gathering drums while remaining compact. It is positioned as an accessible alternative to the large tambourine table: less bulky and easier to integrate into a classroom, workshop, or music therapy office.
Who This Drum Is For
Designed for musical awakening, extracurricular activities, and therapeutic practice, this drum suits both beginners and experienced facilitators. Its large diameter encourages group practice, echo games, shared pulses, and accompaniment for storytelling, world music, relaxation, and sound meditation.

Questions frequently asked
Does the Schlagwerk RTF 60 come with a stand?
A stand with legs is included to stabilize the 60 cm drum and free the hands during play.
Can the skin of the RTF 60 frame drum be tuned?
This model uses a pre-tuned system, without a tuning key or mechanical parts. The tension is designed to remain stable throughout sessions, with no hoop adjustment.
What sound does a goat skin produce on a 60 cm drum?
