A Performer Designed for the Stage, Without Compromising on Lutherie
The Seagull Performer CW Flame Maple Presys II follows the spirit of the Performer models: a performance-oriented guitar designed to meet the needs of musicians who alternate between acoustic playing and amplification. Its cutaway facilitates melodic lines and solos, while its custom polished glossy finish highlights the flame maple grain. The result: an instrument with a bold aesthetic, ready for real stage conditions.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This electro-acoustic is particularly aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a reliable, expressive instrument that is easy to integrate into a live set. Thanks to its clear attack and definition, it suits acoustic pop/rock, modern folk, picking, and energetic strumming very well. The cutaway will also appeal to musicians who play arrangements with passages high up on the neck.
Sound
The solid spruce top provides projection, dynamics, and excellent responsiveness to playing nuances: the harder you play, the more the guitar opens up, while remaining clear. The flame maple back and sides enhance clarity and precision, with well-controlled lows and bright highs, helping the sound stay defined in a mix (especially with vocals). The ergonomically designed cutaway favors melodic playing without sacrificing overall balance. Finally, the Presys II electronics preserve the acoustic identity of the instrument when plugged in, delivering useful and controllable sound in concert situations.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
The guitar comes with a gig bag, convenient for daily transport. To complete stage use, a strap (with suitable attachments) and a tuner are relevant choices, while remaining universally compatible.
