An evolving S6, without compromising the range's DNA
The Seagull S6 has established itself over time as an accessible and inspiring reference, often praised for its playability-to-tone ratio. This Original Slim Presys II version modernizes the experience with a thinner-feeling neck and electronics designed for amplification, while retaining the aesthetic and "everyday guitar" spirit that made the series famous.
For which guitarist and styles?
This electro-acoustic is aimed at both the demanding beginner and the intermediate guitarist seeking a versatile and comfortable instrument. It is particularly suited for folk, pop, chanson, pick accompaniment, and arpeggio playing. Thanks to the Presys II, it naturally fits in rehearsals, home studios, and on stage, delivering a quickly usable sound.
Sound
The pressure-tested cedar soundboard promotes a quick and expressive response, ideal for highlighting playing nuances. The choice and assembly of tonewoods, combined with a customized semi-gloss finish and intentionally thin coating, contribute to good projection and a balanced output. You get precise and clear mids, very effective for accompaniment, with clean basses that remain distinct. Once plugged in, the Presys II electronics allow you to tailor the guitar's character to your amplification while preserving the instrument's acoustic identity.
