Who is this handpan for?
The Sela Majesty D Amara 20 is aimed at percussionists and musicians looking for a wide range of notes in an acoustic instrument played with the bare hands. Its two-sided configuration will be of particular interest to intermediate and advanced players wishing to develop their arrangements. A motivated beginner can also approach it gradually, initially focusing on the upper notes.
This handpan naturally lends itself to meditative music, ambient, acoustic compositions and solo improvisation. Its low and high notes allow you to vary the mood, accompany a voice or engage in dialogue with other instruments. The 440 Hz tuning makes it easy to integrate into an ensemble using the same reference pitch, provided compatible keys are chosen.
