AVX: a "plug-and-record" approach designed for camera shoots
The Sennheiser AVX-ME2 SET positions itself as a wireless solution focused on video production, where the priority is to save time during setup while maintaining a clean and stable signal. The idea is simple: minimize handling (frequency searching, audio adjustments, startup) so you can focus on framing, interviewing, and storytelling. Thanks to its plug-on receiver format and automated operation, the AVX naturally integrates into camcorder and DSLR setups, including mobile rigs where compactness and quick execution make all the difference.
Who is it for and what are the uses? Interviews, weddings, documentaries, corporate
This kit is particularly suited for videographers working in real-world conditions: weddings (ceremonies and speeches), documentaries, reporting, vox pop, corporate videos, event coverage, or social media content requiring clear and close voice capture. The included ME 2 lavalier microphone allows discreet sound capture on a moving subject while maintaining high speech intelligibility. The bodypack transmitter is easily worn on a belt or in a pocket, making it a practical solution for solo interviews (one-man band) as well as lightweight teams.
