A new "EW" generation dedicated to video, heir to the G4 sets
With the EW-DP series, Sennheiser evolves its wireless audio reference for imaging by offering a fully digital UHF portable system, designed as the successor to the G4 portable sets. The goal is clear: to maintain the "field" DNA (robustness, range, RF stability) while modernizing the experience with a more intuitive interface, assistance tools, and mounting solutions adapted to current workflows (camera, cage, handle, smartphone in creative setups, etc.).
Who is it for and what are the uses? Interviews, shoots, reporting, content creation
The Sennheiser EW-DP is aimed at filmmakers, content creators, and broadcasters who want to secure voice capture in the field: interviews, documentaries, ENG, making-of, events, quick recordings, or lightweight shoots where you need to get straight to the point. Paired with a lavalier microphone, it provides a close, clear, and consistent voice even when the subject moves. Depending on the version, the system can be supplied with an omnidirectional ME 2 or cardioid ME 4 lavalier mic; the pack described here includes an ME 2.
