EW-DX: The Professional Continuity of the Evolution Wireless Digital Range

With EW-DX, Sennheiser transfers its historic wireless stage expertise to a digital UHF platform designed for modern productions: scalable, network-ready, and easy to deploy. The range is designed to adapt to various needs (from corporate sets to live performances), with hardware options focused on expansion, while maintaining an ecosystem logic thanks to interchangeable Evolution Wireless Digital components.

The workflow is enhanced by remote supervision and configuration tools, and by automatic scanning capable of quickly assessing the RF environment to facilitate frequency deployment. In denser installations, Link Density mode helps optimize spectral occupancy while staying within the feature restrictions specific to each series.

A Handheld Transmitter Designed for Stage, Events, and Performances

The EW-DX SKM-S is aimed at sound engineers, service providers, RF technicians, and production teams who want a robust handheld transmitter, quick to operate, and consistent in a multi-channel setup. Its metal housing and standard Sennheiser capsule interface make it a reliable base for building a handheld microphone suited for spoken voice, singing, or contexts where multiple speakers follow each other with timing constraints.

Thanks to its switch and programmable mute options, it naturally integrates into "stage" uses (speeches, conferences, worship, recording) as well as live shows requiring precise microphone state management. The persistent E-Ink display improves readability of useful information, even when batteries are removed, which is particularly practical for equipment rotation.
