A classic inspired by the "Alnico II Pro" spirit, Slash version
The APH-2n belongs to the Alnico II Pro family with a "signature" oriented approach, designed to deliver a tone that is both vintage and singing. This sonic identity emphasizes warmth, balance, and a very musical response, particularly appreciated in the neck position.
For which guitarist and styles?
This pickup is aimed at guitarists who want a neck pickup capable of transitioning from nuanced clean playing to more saturated sounds without losing definition. Its palette naturally ranges from jazz to vintage blues, while remaining comfortable for expressive rock leads and thick rhythms.
Warmth, precision, and dynamics: the neck pickup that stays clear
Thanks to its round tone in clean mode, the APH-2n highlights rich chords and melodic phrases with beautiful fluidity. In distortion, it maintains controlled power and precision that help notes stay clear, with well-present bass and good sustain. The result: a humbucker pickup that adds body without muffling the attack, perfect for expressive neck playing.
