A modern classic in the "late 70's" spirit

The Saturday Night Special was designed to capture that typical late 70's rock sound: warm cleans, saturation that cuts through the mix, and a response that remains musical even when pushing the amp. Made in Santa Barbara, California, it follows the Seymour Duncan tradition: character, precision, and a true "amp in the room" feel.

Who is it for, and for what?

This bridge model is aimed at guitarists who want an expressive pickup for rock and hard rock, capable of moving from smooth arpeggios to tight riffs without becoming shrill. It is ideal if you are looking for a mid-level output: more assertive than a very vintage humbucker, but more open and less compressed than a high-gain pickup.

A thicker voice at the bridge without losing definition

Thanks to the Alnico IV magnet and carefully balanced voicing, this Saturday Night Special delivers a clear attack and lively midrange, with a solid low end that doesn't get muddy. In overdrive, chords remain clear and harmonics come through easily, while avoiding overly sharp highs. The Raw Nickel finish combined with the Gold Mesh adds a premium aesthetic, perfect for enhancing a stage guitar.
