A Collaboration Designed to Recapture a Cult Grain

Born from close work with Dave Mustaine, the Thrash Factor set was designed to recapture the very distinctive character of the guitar used in the studio on "Rust In Peace". The idea was not to offer a simple classic "JB and '59" duo, but to regain a sharper and tighter balance, with an immediately recognizable sonic signature.

For Whom and Which Styles?

This set is aimed at thrash, heavy metal guitarists and more broadly all styles where precision is paramount: tight tunings, high gain, tight palm-muting, or very fast rhythms. If you're looking for a cutting attack, excellent note separation, and a true presence in the mix, the Thrash Factor is built for both stage and recording.

A Revisited JB at the Bridge, a Musical '59 at the Neck

In the bridge position, the Thrash Factor carries the DNA of the legendary JB while evolving it through a specific winding: firmer and more controlled low end, slightly scooped mids to let the mix breathe, and sharper highs for surgical articulation. The result: every palm-mute gains impact, riffs stay clear even under heavy saturation, and solos retain a natural bite without losing dynamic control.
Paired with the SH-1n '59 Model at the neck position, the set offers another facet of playing: more musicality and roundness for leads, while maintaining enough clarity for fast runs and complex chords. Together, they form a coherent duo designed to deliver power, precision, and expressiveness with the authentic feel of a passive pickup.
