The idea remains the same: to capture a 50's-typed base, optimized to achieve that characteristic mid scoop, with full bass and bright treble, while preserving the "Strat" feel and dynamic response to playing.

A Set Calibrated to Scoop the Mids and Broaden the Spectrum
Based on underwound 50's-typed pickups, the Scooped Strat combines Alnico V magnets and slightly raised pole pieces to refine string-to-string balance.
