This kit is aimed at guitarists who want to transform their instrument into a riff machine: heavy rock, modern metal, hardcore, punchy punk, and anything that demands attack, sustain, and solid lows. In the bridge position, the Invader pushes the amp with authority; in the neck position, it retains a nice thickness for leads and dark rhythms.
Design: Expanded Magnetic Field and Balanced String-to-String Response
The Invader's power comes from the combination of oversized pole pieces and three ceramic magnets that extend the magnetic field and broaden the frequency spectrum. The result is a rich and "massive" reproduction, with depth, clarity, and particularly effective string-to-string balance. Handmade in Santa Barbara, California, this pickup is wax-potted to reduce high-volume squealing. Its very wide magnetic field makes a Trembucker variant unnecessary: it naturally fits the string spacing of Floyd-style vibratos.
