Custom Stack Plus: the single-coil spirit with a modern approach
The STK-S6 "Custom Stack Plus" is aimed at guitarists who love the identity of a single-coil pickup (dynamic, snappy, articulate) while seeking a more comfortable solution on stage and in the studio. Its stacked ("stack") design allows it to maintain a single-coil format while achieving better interference control, useful with stage lighting, power supplies, and electrically noisy environments.Who is it for, and in which styles?
This pickup is particularly suited for Blues, Rock, Pop, and Classic Rock players who want a sound responsive to playing nuances: sharp pick attacks, well-defined chords, and usable sustain for leads. It naturally fits on a Strat-style guitar (or any instrument with simple wiring) and integrates well in both versatile setups and rigs oriented towards crunch/overdrive.Design, wiring, and tonal character
With its Alnico V magnet and double single-coil format, the STK-S6 offers a balance between presence and power. Its 14.45 kOhms resistance indicates a beefier voice than a vintage single-coil, with good saturation handling and a useful midrange to cut through a band. The split (via 3 shielded conductors ) opens wiring options to tailor the tone to your guitar and playing style, while the anti-interference feature highlights its goal of reducing unwanted noise.Technical specifications
