The MX153C/O-TQG features a subminiature omnidirectional electret capsule. This pickup pattern captures the voice evenly, even when the user slightly turns their head. It helps preserve a natural, consistent tone, which is particularly valuable for speech, conferences and stage presentations.

The capsule features enhanced protection against plosives to help reduce bursts of air caused by explosive consonants. The absence of proximity effect also prevents the voice from becoming excessively bass-heavy when the microphone is positioned close to the mouth.

CommShield technology reduces the risk of interference caused by mobile devices and digital transmissions. The flexible Kevlar-reinforced cable is designed to withstand repeated handling, while the collar clip makes it easy to secure the cable along the clothing.
