The choice of a North American alder body and the addition of 24 frets meet the needs of today's bassists: maintaining a clear sound in the mix while gaining range for melodic lines, solos, and modern grooves.

The alder body provides a natural balance: firm lows, present mids, and controlled highs, ideal for defined lines and a clean low end. The Vintage-J Revolution pickup set (Jazz type) delivers a fast and articulate response: the neck pickup favors roundness and fullness, while the bridge pickup emphasizes bite, detail, and precision. Thanks to the passive wiring (two volumes + master tone), you can finely blend the pickups and soften the highs to move from a bright timbre to a warmer tone. The torrefied hard maple neck and fingerboard enhance attack and clarity, a real plus for right-hand dynamics, whether fingerstyle or pick playing.
