Naturally comfortable in blues, rock, jazz, pop, or fusion, it also expands the playing field: in split mode, it gains clarity and attack for punchier rhythms (funk, indie), while in humbucker mode it delivers a dense, singing, and expressive lead tone.

The Sound

The mahogany/maple combination provides a very musical balance: full lows, rich mids, and more precise definition thanks to the maple top. The ebony fingerboard enhances attack and chord clarity, ideal for retaining detail in both clean and crunch tones. With its 24.75" / 629 mm scale length, the tension is softer, favoring bends and comfortable touch while preserving natural warmth. The LC Vintage-2 pickups offer a classic, harmonic, and dynamic voicing; the 2 volume / 2 tone electronics and 3-position selector allow fine-tuning of every nuance, and the push/pull pots add more open, single-coil-like colors. The set neck, combined with the modern Tune-O-Matic and aluminum stopbar, contributes to excellent note sustain and immediate response feel.
