This M. MILLER V7 Reissue-5 LH continues the line of Sire instruments developed with Marcus Miller: an efficient luthiery foundation, intuitive active electronics, and a modern aesthetic. The "Sire Z-Bass Shape" format and MM configuration make it a bass that is both direct in attack and designed to hold its place in a mix.

For whom, and for which styles?

Thanks to its 5th string and onboard EQ, this bass is especially aimed at intermediate to advanced bassists who need versatility on stage, in the home studio, or during rehearsals. It is well suited for styles requiring a solid low end and good definition: funk, pop, modern rock, gospel, RnB, fusion, and any context where fingerstyle, slap, and more aggressive attacks alternate.

The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp (3 bands) allows quick adjustment of brightness (Treble), body (Middle), and depth (Bass), from warm and full tones to sharp and articulate sounds. The combination of a mahogany body and maple neck/fretboard tends to offer a good balance of warmth, punch, and clarity, with a precise response that highlights right-hand nuances.
