The alder + maple combination delivers a very "Jazz" balance: tight lows, expressive mids, and clear highs, with a fast attack ideal for ghost notes and funky articulations. The two Marcus Vintage-J Revolution single-coil pickups offer a real contrast palette: neck pickup for a round, woody tone; bridge pickup for a tighter bite and increased definition.
