Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range
This stand follows a simple logic: to offer a reliable and practical solution for small-diameter gongs, often used in orchestral percussion, sound therapy, or sound design. It is part of a series offered in four sizes to adapt stability and ergonomics to the exact gong format.
Who This Drum/Gong Stand Is For
This compact gong stand is suitable for both beginners and experienced percussionists seeking quick setup and comfortable playing position. It is especially well-suited for contexts where playing occurs nearby (on the floor or on a table): workshops, studios, music schools, meditative practices, or small stage setups.
Features and Innovations
Its design prioritizes stability and playing comfort: the gong can be played in a natural position while remaining securely attached to the stand. The fixing system is designed to allow the gong to pivot freely, promoting even vibration and smooth movement after striking, without compromising overall safety.
Sound Characteristics
A stand does not influence the gong's "pitch," but it can enhance its resonance by avoiding restriction of its movement. Here, the possibility of free pivoting helps the gong express itself more naturally after being struck, with a freer sustain feel and a livelier response, especially at close playing distances (table or floor).

Questions frequently asked
What diameter of gong can this stand accommodate?
This stand is designed for gongs up to 13 inches, or 33 cm in diameter.
Can the Sonic Energy Stand for 13-inch Gong be placed on a table?
The playing position is intended for either the floor or a table. Its compact size suits setups played at close range.
Can the gong move freely once installed?
The mounting system keeps the gong attached to the stand while allowing it to pivot freely. This movement encourages even vibration after being struck. The resonance is therefore not restricted by a fixed hold.
Is this stand suitable for a 33 cm gong?
A 33 cm gong corresponds to the announced compatibility limit of 13 inches. It can therefore be mounted on this model.
For which contexts is this small gong stand appropriate?
Its compact design is suitable for workshops, studios, music schools, and meditative practices. The series is available in four sizes according to gong diameter.
