An EPM Designed in the Soundcraft Spirit: Essentials Without Excess
The Soundcraft EPM 8+2 aligns with the brand's philosophy: prioritizing audio quality and reliability over stacking secondary features. This series benefits from design choices focused on precision, notably the use of tight tolerance components and surface-mount manufacturing, for more consistent and easily repeatable EQ and gain settings. Above all, it features the GB30 mic preamp, originally developed by Graham Blyth, known for its transparency and dynamic reserve.
Intended Uses: Rehearsal, Live, Studio, and Installations
Versatile, the analog mixing console EPM 8+2 is suitable for live mixing (bands, small stages, events) as well as the needs of a home studio or rehearsal room. Its 8 mic/line inputs allow managing a drum kit in a simple setup, multiple vocals, guitars, keyboards, and line sources, while the 2 stereo inputs easily accommodate a keyboard, audio player, or effects returns. It also fits well in places of worship and installations (multi-zone sound reinforcement, multipurpose rooms) thanks to its immediate ergonomics and dedicated outputs (monitor, record, headphones).
