Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
This pack combines double-ply clear heads oriented towards "punch" and definition for the toms, with a single-ply sanded head dedicated to the snare drum. The set positions itself as an effective solution to achieve a modern, incisive, and clear sound without complicating tuning.
Who This Drum/Head Pack Is For
This pack is aimed at drummers from beginners to advanced who are looking for an immediate and impactful sound. It is particularly suitable for styles where attack and projection matter (rock, pop, funk, metal), while remaining versatile enough for more open tunings.
Features and New Elements
The 2-ply tom heads promote a more controlled response and better harmonic control, with a firmer feel under the stick. The single-ply sanded snare head offers greater sensitivity and an ideal texture to bring out ghost notes, while maintaining precision on rimshots.
The Sound
The clear heads emphasize clarity, attack, and projection, with a generally straighter sustain and clear articulation at a distance. The double ply reinforces body and stabilizes tuning, slightly rounding the highs and taming overly intrusive frequencies.
On the snare, the sanded finish provides a grippier feel and a more "dry" sound, with better-contained harmonics. The single ply preserves openness and dynamics, for an expressive snare from light playing to accented hits.
