Questions frequently asked

Is this shell compatible with a 25 mm center-to-center lug spacing?

Compatibility is designed for a 25 mm center-to-center lug spacing. The shell holes must also correspond to a 6 mm drill diameter and an M4 screw mounting.

What lug threading does this snare shell accept?

The threading provided is the standard #12-24, with a 7/32 inch diameter. This specification is suitable for lugs using this standard.

Does the Sparedrum L20SDTT-BK include a shell isolator?

An insulating rubber is provided. It limits vibrations transmitted to the shell at the mounting point and can reduce mechanical noise.

Can this shell be mounted on a tom?

This model is intended for both toms and snares. Its shell is made of brass, with a black nickel finish.

Does a brass shell improve tuning stability?

Properly fitted brass hardware contributes to tension stability of the lugs. This helps maintain more consistent tuning over time. The effect depends on matching measurements and the quality of the shell mounting.
