Questions frequently asked
Is the Sparedrum STO4 trigger compatible with a 38 mm center distance?
This model is designed for a 38 mm center distance, measured from center to center between the two mounting points. The required drilling holes are 5 mm.
Which screws should be used to mount this snare trigger?
The mounting uses M5 type screws. Mounting screws are not supplied with the trigger.
Is the insulating rubber included?
No insulating rubber is included; this element should be provided according to the snare drum configuration.
What finish does this strainer mechanism have?
The construction is steel with a chrome finish, grey in color. This part is intended for a snare drum.
Does a new trigger improve the strainer response?
A mechanism in good condition contributes to an even tensioning of the strainer. The trigger becomes crisper and the adjustment more stable. Unwanted vibrations related to a worn mechanism can thus be reduced.
