The Sound

The Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass relies on a proven recipe: a poplar body for balanced tone and a maple neck with a fast feel that enhances definition and responsiveness. The two Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups provide a very usable range: the neck pickup delivers a warm, rounded foundation, while the bridge pickup adds bite and clear mids. Blending the two volumes allows you to go from a full, mellow sound to a more "growl" signature, ideal for cutting through the mix, with a master tone control that easily softens or brightens the overall sound.
