A Nod to Fender's Great Ideas from the Sixties

The Paranormal Electric VI combines iconic elements from the Fender universe in an atypical formula designed to break new ground. It features an aesthetic strongly marked by the '60s era, with an Electric XII-style control plate, a "Coronado" headstock, and a deliberately hybrid approach: the look catches the eye, but the ergonomics and equipment remain oriented towards a "stage instrument."
Within the Paranormal range, this model is aimed at those seeking a different electric guitar capable of covering unusual registers without falling into gimmicks. The sonic identity is central to the project: two dedicated split-coil pickups and wiring that offers real variations, notably thanks to the out-of-phase position, rarely so accessible on a guitar of this type.

Who Is the Paranormal Electric VI For?

This guitar is an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced guitarists who want to broaden their palette without relearning the instrument. The short 24.75" / 629 mm scale length facilitates stretches, slightly relaxes the feel under the fingers, and makes left-hand vibrato more natural while maintaining a crisp attack.
In terms of styles, the Paranormal Electric VI shines where character matters: indie, garage, surf, alternative, pop, but also heavier rock when a thick, percussive foundation is desired. The combined positions (in phase / out of phase) invite exploration of cutting rhythms, very articulate clear arpeggios, and "hollowed-out" verse sounds that immediately sit in a mix.

Punchy, Sculptable Tone and an Inspiring Vibrato

The sonic heart of this Electric VI lies in its two Fender Designed Alnico Split-Coil "VI" pickups. Their split-coil architecture provides body and a solid low-mid foundation while maintaining appreciable clarity in chords. In the bridge position, you get a more biting grain, ideal for precise riffs and sharp attacks. In the neck position, the sound becomes fuller and rounder, perfect for singing lines, open chords, and smoother tones.
The 4-position rotary selector truly transforms the experience. The two pickups in phase offer a natural, full, and versatile balance, while the out-of-phase position adds a more "hollowed" character, with a snappy and controlled nasal sensation, very effective for standing out in a dense arrangement. The Master Volume and Master Tone duo remains simple but musical: you can quickly shift from a bright, lively sound to something darker without losing all presence.
The craftsmanship and hardware contribute to the instrument's personality. The nyatoh body promotes a solid and consistent response with stable sustain, while the Vintage Floating Mustang bridge and Mustang-style vibrato are designed for expressive modulations: subtle vibratos, gentle dives, end-of-phrase accents... all while maintaining a "vintage" feel under the right hand. The vintage-style tuners complete the set with reliable tuning stability and smooth rotation.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay as close as possible to the original specifications, opt for a nickel plated steel electric string set in .009-.042 gauges for replacement. A standard guitar strap and a selection of picks (softer for textures, stiffer for attack) will also help fully exploit dynamic variations and the vibrato.
