Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Bar-chimes (often called "carillons" in percussion sets) have become a staple in drum and percussion setups to add airy transitions, phrase-ending accents, or cinematic textures. This 20-bar model serves as a versatile solution, easy to integrate both on stage and in the home studio.Who This Drum/Bar-Chimes Is For
This bar-chimes is suitable for beginners as well as experienced musicians : it is simple to play but highly expressive depending on the attack. Perfect for pop, rock, ambient music, film scoring, theater, variety orchestras, and percussion sets.Features and Innovations
The single row configuration facilitates placement and limits space usage while maintaining a wide sweep range. The wooden support stabilizes the whole and contributes to a more "natural" feel in the setup. The included mallet allows for clean attacks, from light brushing to more pronounced accents.Sound Characteristics
The aluminum alloy offers a bright attack, smooth sustain, and good projection, ideal for making the chimes stand out in a mix. The gold anodization helps preserve the bars' appearance over time and promotes a consistent playing feel, with sparkling harmonics and clean note endings, perfect for builds, punctuations, and transitions.Technical specifications
