Stagg SFTB-14 - 14

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

Designed to meet the demands of stage use, rehearsals, and frequent transport, this "professional" bag features reinforced construction and generous cushioning. It positions itself as a reliable solution for drummers seeking serious daily protection while remaining lighter and quicker to handle than a flight case.

Target Audience for This Drum/Instrument

This bag is intended for beginner to advanced drummers who regularly transport their bass drum, whether in rock, pop, funk, jazz, or contemporary music. It is especially suitable for mobile musicians (rehearsals, lessons, concerts) who want to secure their gear without adding weight to their setup.

Features and Innovations

The combination of reinforced black nylon, high-density foam, and a thick padded interior finish provides excellent shock absorption and effective protection against micro-scratches. The design also prioritizes practicality, with lightweight materials intended to facilitate transportation.

Sound Quality

A bag does not directly influence the tone, but it plays a key role in preserving the sound quality : by limiting shocks, it helps prevent shell deformation and impacts on the hoops, which can affect tuning stability and resonance. The padded interior also protects the bass drum's finish, essential for keeping the instrument in perfect condition over time.
