What SpectraLayers Elements 13 is used for
SpectraLayers Elements 13 is spectral editing software that lets you visualize audio content for targeted editing. Rather than systematically processing an entire track, you select the relevant area, then attenuate, correct, reconstruct or extract it according to your projectâs needs.
This approach is well suited to audio post-production, sound restoration, podcast editing and voice-over preparation. It is particularly useful for working on mouth noise, unwanted voices or isolated events that are difficult to manage with an equalizer, gate or global noise reduction.
The software also supports sound design and the recovery of imperfect recordings. Extracting an impact from an ambience, rebalancing an overly prominent detail or preserving the continuity of a background sound becomes a visual task, guided by listening and by the precise location of elements within the spectrum.
