DIG is a digital delay plugin designed to add character, depth, and movement to your productions. It is suited both for "mix" uses (giving space to a vocal, widening a guitar, rhythmically enhancing a synth) and for sound design (building evolving echo tails, misty ambiances, and synchronized percussive textures). Thanks to its two parallel delays, DIG allows layering different timings, stereo placements, and colors to achieve musical, lively, and instantly inspiring echoes.

Whether you produce pop, electro, rock, film music, or ambient, DIG makes it easy to create repetitions that "play" with the tempo. Two Delays, One Intention: Instant Complexity

The core of DIG is based on an architecture of two simultaneous delays. This approach opens the door to polyrhythmic play, ping-pong responses, temporal doubling, and sophisticated depth effects, all while remaining quick to adjust. You can thus build a clear main echo and a second more textured echo, or stack two complementary timings to make the repetition "dance" around the original signal.

In modern production, this type of double processing is a formidable tool: it allows maintaining a frontal source (voice, snare, arpeggio) while creating a rhythmic and controlled background. The result: a wider, deeper mix, and a delay that contributes to the arrangement instead of simply "repeating."

Three Digital Personalities: From 80s Grain to High Resolution

DIG offers three digital delay sounds, each with a distinct identity. You can move from a retro character, more granular and modulated, to a more precise modern rendering. This palette allows adapting the effect to the context: a more characterful delay to add relief to an instrument, or a high-resolution mode for clean, detailed, and perfectly defined echoes.

The three modes are inspired by major eras of digital delay: an adaptive delta modulation from the early 1980s, a 12-bit pulse-code modulation from the mid-1980s, and a modern 24/96 mode for maximum clarity. This variety is especially useful when you want to place a delay in the mix without masking the message: a more "vintage" mode can round off attacks and blend naturally, while a modern mode preserves brightness and rhythmic precision.

Hypnotic Repetitions and Diffuse Ambiances

Beyond simple echo, DIG is designed to generate atmospheric textures. By combining two delays and a confident digital aesthetic, you get repetitions that can stretch, thicken, and become almost reverberant. This is ideal for creating transitions, adding a cinematic dimension to a pad, or transforming a melodic line into a hypnotic tempo-synced pattern.
